ReShade DX12 is experimental so sometimes turning the filters on and off in DX12 can cause a crash on BFV, buit I am still investigating that. The wierd thing is, ReShade runs those Contrast Aware/Adaptive Image Sharpening Filters really well on DX11. If I compare my 3D Mark scores on RX Vega 64 Liquid versus RTX2080, the RX Vega 64 Liquid is only about 5% slower at DX11 but about 30% slower at DX12 and Vulkan. The number of DX12 and Vulkan Titles are low, and Turing GPUs are better at those now anyhow. So perhaps they implemented Radeon Image Sharpening on that first.īut it looked to me like the RTX5700/XT was doing reasonably well on DX11 now. It could be that AMD want everyone to focus on running DX12 and Vulkan because AMD GPU hardware scheduler does not handle DX11 titles too well and does not Multithread DX11 like Nvidia.
